Oh, Cookie Monster…
Recently, someone dressed as Cookie Monster from the children’s’ program Sesame Street stole a large golden biscuit from the corporate headquarters of Bahlsen in Hanover, Germany. This golden biscuit is a model of a Leibniz cookie–a yummy butter cookie. The thief actually meant well. He claims he will return the biscuit if Bahlsen provides milk and cookies with chocolate for every child at a certain children’s hospital one day in February. A spokesman for the children’s hospital says that the theft was unnecessary. He said that Bahlsen has already done a lot to help the hospital without this sort of blackmail.
